Further to our recent report of Asians
attempting to purchase dogs to import as
"meat-animals" (21st Feb 2003, see http://itd.2kat.net/itd_update_21_02_03.htm),
we have more info on some of the main purpetrators
involved. This is from a contact in New Zealand
who we trust beyond
doubt.
'Please be aware of two
individuals using the name "epetservices"
based
in Hong Kong looking for large quantities of dogs
to go to
supposed "show people". The dogs are
in fact destined for China
and for pet shops in
Asia.
'The names of these two individuals
are Kelvin and Winnie and have
already
contacted breeders here in New
Zealand.
'Under no circumstances deal with
these two as they are not who
they say they
are. I have a number of e-mails from them
which
verify all I have said above.'
We thank you for your time, and
we know that you will do all in your ability
to prevent your dogs ending their lives as
meat.
